Anglian Home Improvements, one of UK’s leading double glazed windows and UPVC doors suppliers, announced the launch of the Anglian company blog in April. With more than 10 years’ presence on the web through its website http://www.anglianhome.co.uk, the company felt it was the right time to go a step further.
According to the company, the blog is aimed at “giving everyone a behind the scenes insight into Anglian’s world, its employees and its culture”. It will serve as a platform for exchanging information, comments and feedback between customers and the company, and will provide updated company news and information on the various charity and community events that Anglian participates in. There will also be a focus on the http://www.anglianhome.co.uk”> double glazing industry as a whole, and developments within. Readers will be encouraged to participate actively in online discussions by posing questions, comments and responses through the blog.
The blog intends to show the fun side of working with Anglian while at the same time promoting the company’s customer-focused approach by responding to feedback and comments from customers. The blog will also attempt to address the bad press that double glazing companies receive, and make a genuine effort to clear out misconceptions that may lead to suspicion from certain quarters.
Judi-Mae Galer, Anglian’s Online Marketing Coordinator says, “The Anglian blog will be about sharing information and innovative ideas and will hopefully stimulate a friendly and personal communication with interested parties and existing customers. The double glazing industry has always been ‘tarred’ with a bit of a bad reputation and we want to show there’s more to it than your typical ‘double glazing salesman’ stories. We do a lot for charity and local communities and we’re very keen to share this with people and get feedback from them.”
Since its launch in April, there have been numerous interesting posts on various categories including the company’s recent donation of a conservatory to a local charity in Norwich in the Charity and Community section, updates on the marketing side of the business and a historical perspective of windows in its product development section.
Anglian Home Improvements, formerly known as Anglian Windows, have been in the double glazing business since 1966. The private limited company offers services in double glazing, replacement windows, conservatory designs, doors, roof trim and driveways.
