A Quality Construction, the Missouri-based roof coating contractor, has announced expansion into five states. In addition to Missouri, A Quality Construction has added service in Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. Also, the firm has launched a web-based initiative to support customers in selecting a roof coating system for their commercial, industrial or agricultural building. The website was recently completed and launched.
“We saw a surge in demand for leading-edge roof coating systems, not only in Missouri but also throughout the Southeast,” said owner Marv Kauffman. “We exclusively provide Conklin Roof Coating Systems, and the quality of their product is well-known. For customers, that’s half the battle. The other half is proper installation by a Conklin-authorized contractor. That’s the need we are able to fill from Alabama to North Carolina.”
Kauffman explained that roof coating systems are polymers, applied as liquids or sheets, which are bonded to the surface of existing roofs. The waterproof, seamless systems carry extended warranties; installation retains the current roofing, which has proven attractive for commercial business owners deferring the purchase of a new roof in an uncertain economy.
The re-developed website was created to explain the different coating systems engineered for different types of roofs. “When you read the clear, detailed information on the web pages, you can see why you need to hire a roofing contractor with our depth of experience. If you have a flat metal roof, that’s one technique and one technology. If your roof is hot tar, we provide a decidedly different product requiring unique application. That’s why we are confident of the success of our multi-state strategy.”
He added that many roofing contractors advertise roof coatings and then stumble through the application. “We embraced this technology early, so we can demonstrate the success of the product and our installation to new clients in our expanded coverage area. We hook them up with our satisfied Missouri clients to get real-world evidence.” He added that the re-designed website features pictures that demonstrate the preparation of roofs, how the coatings are applied, and then examples of finished roof coating systems.
Kauffman cites an additional reason for expanding into other states in 2010. “Currently, the government offers incentives for upgrading an existing roof to an energy efficient design. The roof coating systems are LEED and ENERGY STAR
